Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – As a form of implementing corporate social responsibility or CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and as a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN), the Head of the BNI 46 Malang Regional Office, Bani Iqbal together with the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji signed a cooperation agreement between BNI 46 and the Malang City Government in the Malang Mayor's Meeting Room, Tuesday (15/8/2023).

After signing the cooperation, Malang Mayor Sutiaji said that the initial stage of this cooperation is related to regional tax payments, especially online payments. "The second is planned to support development programs, such as the revitalization of Alun-Alun Merdeka. Next, if possible, it is also to beautify the Kayutangan Heritage Village area," he explained.
"I think that this collaboration also opens up a big opportunity for banking to compete in addition to the profit side, especially since this is a state-owned bank, it will help all of our people to accelerate and be transparent in the transaction sector," added the bespectacled man.
From this cooperation, Mayor Sutiaji targets taxpayers to be able to pay taxes on time and their level of compliance is even better. "The more services provided, the easier and more timely the community will be in paying taxes," he explained again.
Thus, it was stated that the tax sector, which is the largest supporter of regional original income (PAD), will have a significant impact on the acceleration of various development programs.
Meanwhile, the Head of BNI 46 Malang Regional Office, Bani Iqbal said that this cooperation was the first with the Malang City Government. In the future, he hopes that there will be wider cooperation so that it will bring significant benefits to both parties.
"With this synergy, it will not only benefit the local government for its tax revenue levels, but also certainly increase BNI's new business and also strengthen the financial infrastructure in Malang City Government. From BNI itself, we as a state-owned bank representing the state also encourage economic growth here," he said. (say/yon)
