That way, according to him, there will be no obstacles or questions that arise in the community, such as land acquisition for waqf places of worship. The bespectacled man did not deny that until today it has not been 100 percent completed. However, his party will complete it in the near future.
This was conveyed by Malang Mayor Sutiaji on the sidelines of a joint prayer event in the context of the 78th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence at the Baiturrahim Mosque, Malang City Hall, Wednesday night (16/8/2023). Whoever the next leader is, Sutiaji hopes that they can accommodate and guarantee a safe religious life. "Various development programs must be continued for the prosperity and welfare of the people," said Sutiaji.
The Mayor of Malang also asked for harmony between religious communities to continue to be strengthened so that Malang City is always conducive. "Harmony is one of the strengths in facing various problems. Nothing cannot be solved if we are one line," he added.
On this occasion, the Mayor of Malang together with the Deputy Mayor of Malang Sofyan Edi Jarwoko conveyed an apology to the entire community if there was anything that was not pleasing. "No human is perfect, and perfection belongs only to Allah SWT," he concluded. (say/yon)
