Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – A great person is one who gets the approval of his parents and is willing to admit his mistakes and not repeat the same mistakes. Therefore, respect and love both parents, because the approval of Allah SWT depends on the approval of both parents.
That was the message conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji at the Malang City Paskibraka State Night event at the Samodra Wave Building, Malang Navy Base (Lanal), Thursday night (17/8/2023).
“Whatever we are now, it certainly cannot be separated from the role of both parents. Therefore, we would like to thank the parents who have educated their children well so far. Especially the 76 selected children who became the Malang City Flag Raising Troops. Out of 300 participants, they were finally chosen. So this must be appreciated,” added the bespectacled man.
The number one person in the ranks of the Malang City Government also said that the independence achieved by this nation was due to the sacrifice and struggle of the heroes' souls and bodies. Therefore, this is what must be realized by all elements of society, especially the young people and must continue to be strengthened.
To become a successful person, Mayor Sutiaji explained that among other things, one must have high ideals, be disciplined and value time. "Time is like a sword, so if we do not use it well, it will kill us. Therefore, be disciplined in various things," he said.
"Young people and as future leaders of the nation must understand the meaning of what we as children of the nation must do. Do not underestimate time, because everything in this life is basically arranged in such a way, including when the earth rotates," concluded Sutiaji. (say/yon)
