Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – As a step to strengthen micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the President of the Republic of Indonesia often calls for pride in Indonesian-made products, one of which is through the National Movement Proud of Indonesian Products (Gernas BBI). So do not only have an obligation to shop for Indonesian-made products, but must be prepared regarding how MSMEs are ready to serve basic needs.
This was conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji after giving a speech at the handover of capital stimulus assistance for equipment assistance for 200 MSMEs at the Atria Hotel, Jalan Letjend S. Parman No. 87 - 89 Malang City, Monday (21/8/2023).
The bespectacled man revealed that in East Java, the circulation of inter-regional trade experienced a surplus, although exports were lacking. "That means that if we actually have a strengthening of basic needs, then the needs of the community at the regional level are met. From all that, I think our economy is already extraordinary," said Malang Mayor Sutiaji.
Furthermore, the number one person in the Malang City Government said, from that reason it must be strengthened how MSMEs can be empowered. In this way, of course, it must be by name, by address and by need, whose name, what is their business, and what are their needs must be given support.
"Today's event is also related to the issue of capital, which is basically goods. Secondly, in the future it must be in the form of channeling, and thirdly there must be strengthening of human resources related to planning. Today we start and then we ask the relevant agencies to take inventory and there is strengthening," explained Sutiaji.
No less important, the Mayor of Malang said that his party also emphasized the strengthening of human resources of MSME actors in the field of planning, so that whatever and whenever the market needs can be met, both in terms of quantity and quality. (say/yon)
