Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The recent extreme climate change, namely the relatively hot air temperature, must be anticipated by all parties. On the other hand, the increasing potential for El Nino must also be a shared awareness.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Malang City Environmental Service (DLH), Noer Rahman Wijaya, ST, MM, when met, Thursday (24/8/2023). He said that his party was making various efforts to maintain good air quality.
"We have also prepared concrete steps to overcome these challenges. Such as inviting all levels of society to continue to play an active role in protecting the environment," added Rahman.
He emphasized that increasing awareness of the importance of nature conservation is a step that can be taken by every individual to create a healthy and sustainable city.
Rahman also admitted that his party will continue to strive to provide understanding to the public about the importance of maintaining air quality, especially in dealing with the phenomena of climate change and El Nino.
Keeping the environment green, he said, is one of the efforts to maintain air quality. "Every individual must also maintain their health because when the weather is hot, there is a lot of dust that can trigger health problems for someone," Rahman explained. (say/yon)
