Malang (malangkota.go.id) – As various infrastructure facilities and regional conduciveness improve, it certainly has a significant impact on the investment climate. The investment value in Malang City is currently quite high, and in one year it reaches at least IDR 15 trillion. Of that amount, around IDR 600 billion has been realized to date.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Manpower, Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service (Disnaker PMPTSP) of Malang City, Arif Tri Sastyawan, Friday (1/9/2023). According to him, there are many factors that cause the investment value to still be relatively small.
Arif gave an example, there are still many entrepreneurs who have not done the Investment Activity Report (LKPM). If these entrepreneurs do the LKPM report, it will automatically be registered in the system at the center and the system at the Malang City Government.
From the amount of investment value, he said the role of MSMEs is very large, because it contributes around 60 percent. Therefore, he emphasized that MSMEs can report LKPM routinely in order to improve the conduciveness and investment climate in Malang City.
"In our records, of the nearly 32 thousand MSME actors that have been recorded in the Online Single Submission (OSS). Only about 10 percent have routinely reported LKPM to the Malang City Disnaker PMPTSP. This investment value will support regional progress from various sectors," he added.
The reporting is three months for large entrepreneurs and per semester for small and micro entrepreneurs. "And we continue to push it, because if it is not reported, the central government can freeze the Business Identification Number (NIB). If so, automatically the person concerned cannot do any business. That's what we are worried about, because one NIK is for one NIB," he explained.
In order to simplify the licensing process and improve the investment climate, the Malang City PMPTSP Manpower Office has also developed the Online Licensing Information System (Si-Izol) application. This application makes it easier for the public to access licensing services using one account with the Population Identification Number (NIK). (say/yon)
