Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Still in order to enliven the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Mojolangu Village held the Mojolangu Bersatu Guyub Rukun Cultural Carnival, Sunday (3/9). Starting at RW 17 Jl Sudimoro Utara, the carnival was very lively.
This cultural carnival was opened by the Head of Lowokwaru District, Drs. Rudi Cahyono Catur Utomo, taking a route to several points in the Mojolangu area, namely Jl. Sudimoro, Jl. Ikan Gurami, Jl. Akordion, Candi Paggung Barat, Sukarno Hatta and finishing at Jl Raya Sudimoro.
Lowokwaru Sub-district Head Rudi Cahyono Catur Utomo expressed his gratitude to all residents of Mojolangu Village who had held an extraordinary event. According to him, this carnival could be an event to appreciate the creativity of residents while enlivening the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. "The spirit is extraordinary. This carnival activity is a manifestation that we are all trying to maintain independence. Hopefully the spirit of the residents of Mojolangu Village to always fill and maintain independence will be maintained throughout time and will increasingly foster a sense of love for the homeland," explained Rudi.
Meanwhile, Mojolangu Village Head Fery Irawan revealed that the Mojolangu carnival was attended by 135 groups from 20 RW in Mojolangu Village who displayed various creativity. "We are happy with this activity. Thank you Mojolangu community for holding this extraordinary activity," said Fery.
A good response also came from the residents who watched. One of them was Sumariyono who admitted that he was happy with the carnival in Mojolangu. He said that this carnival could be entertainment for residents.
"I took my children and wife to see the carnival, and also to play in Mojolangu Park which is located right in front of the carnival starting point," explained Sumariyono. (cah/yon)
