Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The establishment of the Syifa Husada Unggul Clinic in Mulyorejo Village is expected to further help the community to obtain adequate access to health care. That was expressed by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji when inaugurating the Syifa Husada Unggul Clinic, Monday (4/9/2023).

Malang Mayor Sutiaji welcomed the presence of the Syifa Husada Unggul Clinic because according to him, with more clinics, it means that health access for the community is also increasingly available. "Like today, before it was inaugurated, a patient came and was immediately treated well. That means it is a good effort for health services," explained Sutiaji.
Meanwhile, Syifa Husada Unggul Clinic Commissioner Ir. Peter Susilo, SH, MH said, as a citizen who knows firsthand the global Covid-19 pandemic and its impacts that greatly affect all sectors, his party wants to contribute directly by establishing a clinic to provide access and good health services for all citizens. "Covid-19 has had a wide impact, especially on the lower middle class. We hope that the presence of the Syifa Husada Unggul Clinic can help the community," he hoped.
Peter said, together with dr. Edi Suyanto who is the Chairman of the East Java Private Hospital Association, he felt moved to establish the Syifa Husada Unggul Clinic which can be reached by the lower middle class. "Finally, we happened to get access in Mulyorejo for one block, namely eight shophouses that can be converted into a clinic. After consulting with the Health Office, it is very feasible to become a clinic and today it is inaugurated," explained Peter.
Peter further explained that the name of the clinic was taken because it was established to serve the lower class and currently accepts 15.000 BPJS members. He said that these BPJS patients have been served since the opening. "After it is officially opened, we hope that the community will really take advantage of the health facilities available at this clinic," said Peter.
Syifa Husada Unggul Clinic opens 24-hour health services. "Not only the surrounding community, we also accept people whose houses are far away, the important thing is that first aid is always carried out properly and correctly," said Peter. (cah/yon)
