The Child-Friendly Indonesia Foundation (Partner of the Indonesian Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection) conducted an assessment of the children's forum in Malang City.

This Children's Forum Assessment is carried out for the assessment of the Village Level Children's Forum. The Children's Forum itself is a forum for the environment for children's aspirations in the residential environment. The Children's Forum has the goal of 2P, Reporter and Pioneer which is encouraged to invite children to become examples or role models and become reporters of bad actions in the surrounding environment and in accordance with the law.

This activity was carried out together with members of the Purwantoro Village Children's Forum or known as FAKTOR who received various knowledge materials about the Indonesian Children's Forum and various problems that occur in children. The members of the Children's Forum themselves who attended this activity were ten children from various RW representatives from Purwantoro Village. Members of the Children's Forum also actively participated in this activity, sharing experiences experienced as children and members of the Children's Forum.

The activity began with sharing about the Children's Forum in Indonesia with Father Taufiq and Mother Endang. Continued with a discussion by FAKTOR members about analyzing SWOT that occurred in the Kelurahan environment. Not only discussions, presentations and question and answer sessions were also carried out in order to solve the problems found by FAKTOR members.

In addition, FAKTOR members discussed children's problems that often occur in the village environment, and then continued with a joint discussion session and also guided by fathers and mothers so that the problems could be clarified.

After the discussion, the Ministry team and FAKTOR members visited the children's educational park located in the Purwantoro Village area. This educational park contains fish farming built and managed by one of the RW as a place of education for the community. This educational park is attractive to the community, especially children who have a high curiosity and have hobbies and interests in cultivation so that it can be a very suitable medium.

Purwantoro Village certainly has various advantages and a child-friendly environment. Various facilities and infrastructure are available to protect and become a place for education to develop children's interests and talents. Accommodated by the existence of an active Children's Forum organization, it is hoped that it can support children's development, especially in the Purwantoro Village environment.
