Malang City Police Build Three New Buildings to Maximize Services

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In an effort to maximize services to the community, the Malang City Police have started construction of three new buildings to provide the best service. The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, was also present to lay the first stone for the construction of the new Malang City Police building, Saturday (16/9/2023).

The laying of the first stone was carried out by the Mayor of Malang together with the Deputy for Public Services of the Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB), Diah Natalisa, and the Level III Middle Police Auditor of the East Java Regional Police Inspectorate, Senior Commissioner Deny Heryanto.

Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji expressed his hope that the construction of the building at the Malang City Police will contribute to providing excellent service to the community. The service is expected to be evenly distributed to all levels of society. "The Malang City Government should help each other with the Malang City Police in improving public services," said Sutiaji.

Malang City Police Chief Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto explained that the three new buildings to be built will function as the Samapta Unit Building, Criminal Investigation Unit, and parking area. The budget for the construction of the building comes from a grant from the Malang City Government of Rp6,5 billion.

"The construction of this building was funded through a grant from the Malang City Government of Rp6,5 billion. The target completion of the construction is 106 days," said Budi Hermanto, Saturday (16/9/2023).

The Malang City Police Chief added that on December 14, 2023, the buildings will be handed over to the Malang City Police. The construction of the building also takes into account facilities and infrastructure for vulnerable groups such as guiding blocks and handrails.

In addition to the laying of the first stone for the construction of the building, this event also included the inauguration of the Sarja Arya Racana Polresta Malang Integrated Service Office. This integrated office provides various services such as Police Record Certificates (SKCK), permits, and SIM extensions.

"The Sarja Arya Racana Integrated Office is also equipped with an EDC machine so that the cost of SKCK of Rp30 thousand which is PNBP will go directly to the state treasury," said Budi Hermanto.

Meanwhile, Diah Natalisa expressed her appreciation for the steps taken by the Malang City Police in improving services to the community, especially for vulnerable groups.

"We see how Polresta Malang City continues to improve services and facilities and infrastructure for vulnerable groups. We see good collaboration between the Malang City Government and other agencies in realizing good public services," said Diah. (cah/yon)
