Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The integrity of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) is very important in building quality public services. Given its importance, the Malang City Government is strengthening the integrity values for ASN within the Malang City Government.
Taking the theme of Strengthening ASN Integrity Towards Advanced Indonesia Towards Golden Indonesia in 2045, this activity was held at Graha Cakrawala, State University of Malang, Sunday (17/9/2023). Thousands of ASN in Korpri uniforms and BUMD employees in their respective uniforms attended this event. This activity also became a means of friendship between ASN and BUMD employees within the Malang City Government.
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji when giving his direction hoped that all ASN and BUMD employees could change their perspective, attitude and behavior to realize accountable and competent ASN and public servants. It is also hoped that every personnel will be able to have optimism towards the Golden Indonesia in 2045.
"Hold fast to the basic values, code of ethics and responsibility. We have sworn on our respective holy books that we are servants of the state. Our blood that flows is from the Motherland. Our lives and livelihoods are from and for the state," said the Mayor of Malang.
Sutiaji said that the mental revolution that continues to be echoed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia encourages the development of a mentality to serve the country wholeheartedly. Togetherness and similarity of movement to achieve a shared vision to move towards Malang City and an advanced Indonesia are greatly needed.
“Continue to strengthen the unity among all of us. Don’t just say it, but show it. Eliminate sectoral egos, because we are a whole body. If there is one thing that is not right, not functioning, it will certainly affect our work and performance. How long will egos shackle us, shackle the value of solidarity, kill the soul of empathy and sympathy. Together we have made a promise to present the best performance,” he exclaimed.
At this moment, Sutiaji and Sofyan Edi Jarwoko said goodbye before retiring as Mayor of Malang and Deputy Mayor of Malang. He expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the cooperation that had been established in building a dignified Malang City. Sutiaji also reminded ASN to uphold a neutral attitude during this political party.
“Don’t let ASN get involved in politics. Don’t let ASN be divided into carriages A, B, C and others that could potentially divide us all. Whoever becomes the captain, the leader and the imam in the future, we must follow. Thank you for your togetherness. We apologize for all the mistakes and errors during this mandate. I take my leave. Positions have limits,” he concluded.
As a motivation for ASN to continue to develop their competence, in this event various awards were also given to ASN with achievements ranging from promotions, scholarship recipients, to those who have achieved nationally in various fields. The award from the Malang City Government was given directly by the Regional Secretary of Malang City who is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KORPRI Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso, ST., MT.
