Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji took the oath and inaugurated 115 Administrators and Supervisory Officials within the Malang City Government (Pemkot) in the Meeting Room of Malang City Hall, Wednesday (20/9/2023).
Malang Mayor Sutiaji revealed that there were adjustments in several regional apparatuses such as the new Work Organization Structure (SOTK). "There are adjustments. For example, in Malang City Hospital there is a new SOTK. In the new SOTK, the director used to be Echelon IIIB, and now IIIA, the heads and sub-section heads used to be Echelon IVA, now they are IVB," he explained.
The bespectacled man said that there will be a new law which is an improvement of Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning the State Civil Apparatus (ASN). The law regulates in detail how and what ASN should do.
"Now it is the State Civil Apparatus, formerly Civil Servants (PNS), with the term state apparatus we maintain what is the dignity and good name of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). We are at the forefront of NKRI, how Bineka Tunggal Ika, the 1945 Constitution and Pancasila are our commitments," said the number one person in the ranks of the Malang City Government.
He further revealed that currently the public's expectations are extraordinary. With the bureaucratic reform, it is hoped that the governance in running the Malang City government will prioritize the interests of the community. The hope is that it can have an impact on increasing public trust, and can change the public's mindset, namely shifting that this government has a positive impact on the community.
"We swear by the name of the God we glorify, witnessed by the holy book we glorify. Just want that what is said is not just on the lips but becomes behavior, becomes moral responsibility and hopefully this becomes strength for all of us," he concluded. (yul/yon)
