Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – After leading the first morning assembly with the ranks of the Malang City Government, Acting Mayor of Malang Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM moved quickly to gather the ranks of the Heads of Regional Apparatus (PD) within the Malang City Government to hold a coordination meeting in the Meeting Room of the Malang City Hall, Monday (25/9/2023).

The Acting Mayor of Malang revealed that the agenda of this coordination meeting is still only an introduction. So far, he is still mapping priority issues that must be resolved immediately based on reports from the heads of regional apparatuses. From these issues, an inventory of issues is then carried out, to then be held for a follow-up meeting as an effort to resolve them.
"So earlier it was just a report and introduction one by one. I am still taking inventory of which programs are priorities or maybe currently viral and others, later to be discussed further technically with the related PDs," he explained.
Among several things that have become public attention, Wahyu said it is necessary to receive reports from the heads of related agencies comprehensively. According to him, he cannot immediately decide on the steps to be taken. Even so, Wahyu admitted that he did not refer to a certain time in resolving priority issues or viral issues in society today. All that is homework, he said, should be found a solution as soon as possible.
"There is no 100-day program or anything. Basically, everything that is my homework, will be completed immediately," said the man who previously served as the Regional Secretary of Malang Regency.
Apart from the issues currently developing in society, Wahyu also stated that he would focus on the orders of the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding handling cases of stunting, inflation, extreme poverty, and public services that must continue to be improved.
In addition, he will also emphasize strengthening the creative economy sector through the Malang Creative Center (MCC) in accordance with the direction of the Governor of East Java during his inauguration. "Including the Governor's yesterday's mandate related to the MCC, the creative economy, that is also what we will discuss after this," he concluded. (iu/yon)
