Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The plan to implement traffic engineering in the Jalan Untung Suropati or Buk Gluduk area still requires time for socialization, study and further study together with the Traffic and Road Transportation Forum (FLLAJ).
Moreover, the treatment is different from the traffic engineering that has been previously implemented. That was conveyed by the Head of the Malang City Transportation Agency (Dishub), Widjaja Saleh Putra, Monday (25/09/2023).
He added, from that condition, the traffic engineering that was initially going to be implemented today had to be postponed. "The point is that the socialization will be extended until it is assessed optimally in the traffic forum. Jalan Untung Suropati is a national road, where the density level is also very high, so it is necessary to minimize the risk. In addition, we are also still waiting for further direction from the Acting Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat," explained Widjaya.
It is possible that the designed traffic engineering scheme has not been confirmed to change. "The plan is currently still being discussed with the traffic forum and expert team," explained the bespectacled man.
"Because the instructions from the Acting Mayor of Malang must be linked to a larger masterplan. So it is not certain that the scheme will change. We will just wait and see what it will be like," he concluded. (say/yon)
