Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In order to continue to provide the best, fastest and most effective public services to the community, there is a big possibility that in the future the Malang City Government will cooperate with the Malang Regency Government in the service sector at the Merdeka Public Service Mall (MPP) of Malang City located in the Malang City Square area.
The statement was conveyed by the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM when reviewing the Merdeka MPP to the media crew, Monday (2/10/2023). According to him, the Merdeka MPP of Malang City is very comfortable. Because besides having a mall, there is also a place to eat so that residents who come are more comfortable.
"We will discuss it with the Regional Secretary of Malang City before we communicate with the Malang Regency Government. As long as it is for the convenience and service to the community, why not? Many Malang Regency residents travel to Malang City, so they can take care of documents at the same time," added Wahyu.
In addition, in this Merdeka MPP there is a place of worship, the toilets are clean and there is a playground for children. So it is very comfortable for every resident who comes. Residents of Malang Regency whose houses are close to Malang City can take care of their document needs to the MPP. Such as residents of Karanglo, Karangploso, Wagir, Pakis and Pakisaji.
"For the initial stage, if this can be implemented, it is likely for priority services first. For example, to take care of population documents, taxation, PDAM and various permits. What is certain is that we will first communicate this with the parties, whether it can be implemented or what it will be like later," concluded Wahyu. (say/yon)
