Wahyu also checked what facilities are still very much needed to support maximum service.

After touring, the Acting Mayor of Malang revealed that the service at the Malang City Hospital is good and serves both Malang City residents and Malang Regency residents. "The Malang City Hospital is also a referral from other hospitals. This means that the Malang City Hospital has advantages, including the existence of a child care and service unit in the ICU room and also inpatient services that have good standards," explained Wahyu.

Related to the facilities that are considered lacking include facilities for dialysis or hemodialysis which in the future will be fulfilled by being equipped with complete infrastructure and facilities. "Later there will be a proposal, and the budget capacity will be seen. So by seeing it directly like this we will know the priority needs at the Malang City Hospital," explained Wahyu.

Meanwhile, the Director of Malang City Hospital, Rina Istarowati confirmed that her office lacks several supporting facilities, such as dialysis equipment and CT Scans. We send them there to undergo a CT Scan and treatment at Malang City Hospital," said Rina.

Regarding the need for specialist doctors, it was conveyed that Malang City Hospital is currently continuing to prepare. "Specialists in the eye, ENT, heart and microbiology labs are currently undergoing education. Our surgeons are still in the process. We still have some who are non-ASN, while waiting for doctors who are in school to return," said Rina.
