Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM attended the Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday held by the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Family of Malang City at the PCNU Building of Malang City, Jl KH Hasyim Asyari 21, Sunday (8/10/2023).
Acting Mayor of Malang Wahyu Hidayat in his speech said that the Prophet Muhammad SAW was a very noble human being who was a role model and example for all Muslims. "Hopefully by gathering here to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad SAW can be a good deed full of goodness and blessings," said Wahyu.
The moment of the Prophet's Birthday Commemoration was mentioned as not just a celebration, but also the right time to emulate the teachings of the Prophet as an extraordinary role model. The Prophet Muhammad SAW was not only a noble figure in everyday life, but also appeared with a noble mission to perfect human morals.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Tanfidziyah of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PCNU) Malang City Branch Management, Israqunnajah, said that the Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday was a form of gratitude for the birth of the Prophet. "This activity is part of our reverence, our gratitude, for the birth of the Prophet," said Gus Is, Israqunnajah's nickname.
The commemoration of the Prophet's Birthday is also an event to strengthen the ties of friendship between NU administrators throughout Malang City.
