Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Plenary Meeting of the Malang City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) with the agenda of Delivering the General Views of the Factions on the Draft General Budget Policy and Temporary Budget Ceiling Priorities (KUA-PPAS) for the 2024 fiscal year APBD was held in the Plenary Room of the Malang City DPRD, Monday (9/10/2023).
In this plenary meeting of the legislative and executive ranks, six factions expressed their views, such as regarding the increase in honorary salaries which must be adjusted to the amount of the City Minimum Wage (UMK) of Rp3,2 million. This is because the salary of honorary employees or Operational Activity Support Personnel (TPOK) is currently Rp2.940.000.
Next, regarding the inheritance rights for Land and Building Acquisition Fee (BPHTB) which was increased from IDR 300 million to IDR 400 million. This is to help and ease the burden on the community. In addition, what was conveyed was related to waste management and Perumda Tugu Tirta.
Responding to this, Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM said that in general his party welcomed it and would review the various submissions from the factions. "We appreciate it, but we will discuss it with officials at the Malang City Government," he said.
"We were given one week to respond and provide an answer. Especially regarding the budget, we have to review it more intensively. If our budget allows, we will likely prioritize various proposals," Wahyu added.
For proposals and suggestions related to work programs, especially in a number of agencies and BUMDs, we must communicate further with related institutions. "Thus, what we do later will have a significant impact on the community," explained Wahyu. (say/yon)
