Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Family is the smallest part of society that has an important role. Family is where everything is, from a family will emerge innovations and ideas that can be developed for the progress of a region. Therefore, every family must have strong resilience in various things.
The statement was delivered by the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM when he was the keynote speaker in Forum Group Discussions (FGD) Strengthening Family Economic Resilience Based on Mosques at the Pelangi Hotel, Jalan Merdeka, Malang City, Wednesday (18/10/2023).
"Resilience is not only when the family is lacking, but also when they are sufficient. What also needs to be remembered is that something excessive is not good, and adaptation is the key to progress. Human nature is always never satisfied and always feels lacking. This is where the role of the mosque is needed, related to how to feel grateful," he added.
Wahyu gave an example, for example, when there is a family that is in debt or has other problems. So this is where the role of the mosque must be maximized and can be an alternative in solving the problem. "In this case, we are collaborating with the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) of Malang City so that the results are more optimal," he added.
"From this program, the mosque is not only used as a place to pray and study the Koran, but also has wider benefits for the welfare of the people. And basically, the function of the mosque is like that. Therefore, let us prosper and utilize the existence of this mosque well," said Wahyu. (say/yon)
