Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Military Resort Command (Korem) 083/Baladhika Jaya held the 2024 Peaceful Election Declaration at the Hall of Makorem 083/BDJ, Monday (30/10/2023). This declaration was attended by various elements, such as the heads of political parties participating in the general election (election), religious figures, youth organizations, KPUD and Bawaslu of Malang City.
This declaration was also attended by nine Kodim in the working area of Korem 083/BDJ virtually, including Kodim Lumajang, Batu City and Malang Regency, Probolinggo, Pasuruan and Jember. Polri elements also participated in the event which was marked by the signing of signatures together.
The echo of realizing a Peaceful Election was appreciated by various parties, including the Head of the National Alertness and Conflict Handling Division of Bakesbangpol Malang City, Ir. Ade Herawanto, MT after attending the event. According to him, efforts to create a Peaceful Election must continue and always be echoed, so that later a dignified election will be obtained.
"The heating up of politics in the capital city of Jakarta should not be brought to the regions, especially Malang City. Moreover, this city has the best tolerance for religious life in East Java. So we all must be able to maintain that," added the man who is familiarly called Sam Ade.
He further said that his party agreed with the statement of Danrem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Col. Inf. Jamaludin that Indonesia stands on differences. "If these differences are maintained and managed well, then they will become strengths. If not, then they will become weaknesses," said the bespectacled man.
"At least the participants of today's declaration can voice the Peaceful Election to the lowest level of society, then the implementation of the five-yearly democratic party to be held on February 14, 2024 will run well," he concluded. (say/yon)
