Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government through the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Areas Agency (DPUPRPKP) of Malang City held a Socialization of the Approval of Suitability of Risk-Based Business Spatial Utilization Activities (KKPR) at the Grand Mercure Malang Mirama, Tuesday (31/10/2023). This socialization was attended by related regional apparatuses, professional associations and business actor organizations.
Socialization related to KKPR is very important for the community, especially for business actors. This is because an important requirement in establishing a business is the existence of a location permit and a permit for the use of space in building and managing land. To issue the business permit refers to KKPR. The Malang City Government hopes that business actors have an understanding of the business process of KKPR for business activities starting from the registration stage on OSS, local government validation, to the issuance of PKPR approval.
Head of DPUPRPKP Malang City Drs. R. Dandung Djulharjanto, MT said that PKKPR is the initial breath of business actors. "The business licensing process, both building construction permits to operational permits, begins with this KKPR, which previously began with KRK," he explained.
Dandung said that although the KKPR process is inherent in the duties and functions of the Disnaker-PMPTSP, his party also pays attention to the KKPR process because it is related to the use of space. "So if there are technical matters that need to be coordinated together, we will do it. In fact, many business actors submit requests for information, complaints to DPUPRPKP," he explained.
"With this socialization, it will be able to increase the understanding of business actors regarding the importance and process of issuing PKKPR so that it becomes a solution to various obstacles. That way, it will be able to improve the investment climate in Malang City so that it has a positive effect on economic growth and the welfare of the people of Malang City," explained Dandung further.
Meanwhile, the Expert Staff for Development, People's Welfare and Human Resources of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Drs. Alie Mulyanto, MM who was present representing the Acting Mayor of Malang said that investment is one of the strategic elements in economic growth and plays an important role in implementing capital investment that supports business development in the community. By strengthening investment, it will be able to open the way for the development of creative industries in Malang City.
He added, to improve this investment ecosystem, the Malang City Government has also implemented risk-based business licensing. "Business actors must meet the requirements, namely the existence of a location permit and a spatial utilization permit in building and managing land that we currently use the KKPR approval mechanism. The goal is to maintain harmony and integration between sectors," he explained.
Malang City Government hopes that with this KKPR mechanism, it can provide smoothness and ease of doing business in Malang City. In addition, it is also a joint effort to improve the quality and effectiveness of spatial planning in accordance with applicable regulations," he concluded. (ari/yon)
