Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Exciting and happy, That's what was seen when students of TK Muslimat NU 18 went on an educational tour at the RW 9 Education Park, Purwantoro Village, Malang City, Wednesday (1/11/2023). This direct learning activity in the field was even more interesting with the presence of PPL from the Malang City Food Security and Agriculture Service (Dispangtan) M. Anas Setyawan.
Head of RW 9 Education Park, Purwantoro Village, Famik Pradana, said that the children of Muslimat NU Kindergarten 18 Malang City were introduced to simple tilapia cultivation which of course made the children enthusiastic. "We introduced the types of tilapia and how to feed the fish properly. When they went home, the children were given fish, so they were happy and wanted to learn to care for fish," explained Famik.
Famik said, the type of fish cultivated in the Education Park is tilapia, which is cultivated from spawning to harvest. For marketing through the Kawan Kita Fish Farming Group (Pokdakan). "We also provide education to the community and children about fish farming which is directly supported by the Malang City Dispangtan," he explained.
Famik said that this learning activity with children was attended by 25 people accompanied by two teachers and a team from the RW 9 Education Park, Purwantoro Village.
Meanwhile, PPL from Dispangtan Malang City M. Anas Setyawan expressed the importance of teaching children from an early age about the world of fisheries. The material provided is certainly adjusted to the world of children to make it interesting and fun.
"How to take good care of fish, provide enough food, and also the good values of consuming fish. This will make them like fish from an early age," concluded Anas. (cah/yon)
