Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) together with partners held a training for Women's MSMEs entitled 'Effectiveness of Capital Utilization of Women's MSMEs' at the Ubud Hotel, Malang City, Monday (6/11/2023). This training is a form of support for social programs.

Expert Staff for Development, People's Welfare and Human Resources of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Drs. Alie Mulyanto, MM expressed his appreciation for this activity. According to him, this activity is very good for improving the competence of women's MSMEs in facing the changing times. "Digitalization is something inevitable that we cannot avoid. For that, real steps are needed to be able to face the changes and developments of the times," explained Alie.
Alie added that the problems of MSMEs are certainly very complex and require collaboration. "Problems can be related to licensing, capital, production processes, to promotions. Therefore, we must work together to build the MSME ecosystem in Malang City by strengthening every potential that exists. For that, I advise the participants to follow the activities well because activities like this are extraordinary," said Alie.
Meanwhile, PT XL Axiata Region Group Head, Dodik Ariyanto, said that digital literacy is very important to face the ever-growing digital era. The existence of this program is expected to support the effective utilization of women's MSME capital in Malang City. "We held our activities with three offline class sessions at the Ubud Hotel on November 6-8, 2024," said Dodik.
For three days, participants were given valuable materials involving prominent speakers. The three speakers were Shanti Maya, Co-Founder of Performe Indonesia, Tyas Winadari Mentor UMKM, Nadhifa Putri Delila Digital Marketing Specialist. "The activity was attended by 27 selected participants and also community partners," explained Dodik.
It was mentioned that in 2045, UMKM will be part of the economic strength of the Indonesian nation. For that reason, this activity involves women so that they can know financial management, how to package products and marketing. (cah/yon)
