Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) held a Commemoration Ceremony for the 59th National Health Day in 2023 in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Monday (20/11/2023). This ceremony was attended by all ranks of Regional Apparatus Heads in Malang City, Sub-district Heads, Village Heads throughout Malang City, and also health workers in Malang City.

Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM in his direction said that this morning's assembly was a momentum to increase togetherness and solidarity to realize a national health system, especially in Malang City. According to him, in this way, Malang City will be more capable and strong in facing various existing challenges.
Wahyu on this occasion also read the message of the Indonesian Minister of Health at the 59th National Health Day ceremony, including the efforts made by the Central Government in compiling the Health Sector Master Plan (RIBK) which will function as a common direction in health development efforts throughout Indonesia.
"He advised that RIBK must be a reference for the Central Government and Regional Governments in planning, budgeting, and implementing health programs in their regions," explained Wahyu.
Wahyu added, on the occasion of the 59th National Health Day, the Minister of Health also instructed to strengthen the synergy and collaboration, both from the central government, regional governments and all elements of society in implementing the six pillars of health transformation to support the Indonesian health system.
"The six pillars are primary service transformation, referral service transformation, health resilience system transformation, health financing transformation, health human resource transformation, and health technology transformation," he explained.
Therefore, Wahyu expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all health workers who have worked together tirelessly to carry out health development in Indonesia.
However, he said that the struggle is not over yet. "Therefore, I invite all people to participate in building health, starting from ourselves, our families, and the surrounding environment. Let's build together a healthy and strong body and soul for Indonesia Emas 2045," he invited.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Health Service (Dinkes), Dr. Husnul Muarif, said that various events were held by the Malang City Health Service to enliven the 59th National Health Day in 2023.
The various series of activities include the Health Poster Competition which was attended by 209 participants from the general category, the Public Service Advertisement Competition which was attended by 11 participants from health service facilities, Health Social Service which was attended by 220 elementary school students in two schools, namely SDN Madyopuro 6 and MI Jabal Nur, then the 59th National Health Day Roll Call, and closed with the HKN Festival which will be held at the Malang Creative Center (MCC) on November 23, 2023.
