Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM again held a safari visit to Islamic boarding schools (ponpes) in Malang City. This time, the Acting Mayor of Malang visited the Sabilulrrosyad Islamic Boarding School located in Karangbesuki Village, Sukun District, Malang City, Wednesday (22/11/2023).
The Acting Mayor of Malang expressed his gratitude for being able to conduct a gathering which became an introduction event since he received the mandate as Acting Mayor of Malang since September 2023.
"As new officials, of course we want to visit, including the Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding School which is run by KH Marzuki Mustamar," explained Wahyu.
On this occasion, Wahyu reminded us that ahead of the upcoming 2024 Simultaneous Democracy Party, we should pay our collective attention. "We must deliver simultaneous elections into a democratic party that is healthy, peaceful, cool and full of benefits," he said.
He added, the democratic party, as the name suggests, according to Wahyu, must be welcomed with joy which of course is for the sustainability of the nation. This is a shared task for all elements of Malang City society, including Islamic boarding schools.
"Let's keep Malang City conducive, and hopefully the implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous Democratic Party can run well," Wahyu hoped. (cah/yon)
