Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM appreciated the 59th National Health Day (HKN) Celebration of Malang City initiated by the Malang City Health Office. According to him, this activity is a meeting place for all health agencies to coordinate with each other and of course great hopes are pinned.
The statement was delivered by Wahyu Hidayat after opening the event held at the Malang Creative Center (MCC) building, Thursday (23/11/2023). He said that his party gave the highest appreciation because various competitions in the framework of the 59th HKN had also been held previously, such as the posyandu competition, posters and public service advertisements and posyandu cadres.
"These competitions will be a stimulant to continue working with heart and to carry out health tasks," he added.
In the future, he hopes that in Malang City, especially in the Health Office, there will be health targets that must be carried out, especially for public health services. "But there are also some that must be priority targets, such as in reducing stunting rates," continued Wahyu.
Currently, several sub-districts are free from stunting. Other sub-districts will soon follow and will be encouraged with various efforts. "From this step, a healthy and competitive future generation will be born," explained Wahyu.
The statement was agreed by the Head of the Malang City Health Office, dr. Husnul Muarif. He emphasized that health is the main and important thing for the community. Because, if the community of a region has their health services fulfilled, it will also help increase the competitiveness of the region. (say/yon)
