Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Farewell and Welcome Ceremony of the Commander of the 0833 Malang City Military District Command (Dandim) was held at the Skodam V/Brawijaya Building, Jalan Tugu, Malang City, Friday night (24/11/2023). The leadership of the 0833 Malang City Military District Command is now held by Lieutenant Colonel. Arm Aris Gunawan replacing Lieutenant Colonel Kav. Heru Wibowo Sofa.
Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM in his speech welcomed the new Dandim 0833 and thanked the old Dandim 0833 who has now moved to the TNI Headquarters.
"Although I only served for 20 months in Malang City, I have known Mr. Heru for a long time. When I served as Regional Secretary of Malang Regency, he gave me a lot of input, suggestions and constructive criticism. I received many positive things, and he is a person who quickly masters the field," said Wahyu.
During the two months of carrying out the mandate as Acting Mayor of Malang, Wahyu said that his party walked hand in hand with Lieutenant Colonel Kav. Heru and many positive things were presented. "We thank you for your dedication. Always success for Mr. Heru in his new place," added Wahyu.
To the new Dandim 0833, the friendly man admitted that he did not expect that he was also Arema, namely born in Singosari, Malang Regency. "We will certainly always collaborate for the progress of Malang City to be even better. Let's strengthen the relationship with cross-sector institutions," said Wahyu.
On this occasion, Lieutenant Colonel Kav. Heru Wibowo Sofa expressed his gratitude to all parties because during his assignment in Malang City, he said it was very comfortable, memorable and had many unforgettable memories. "Here the people are friendly and I apologize if I and my family have ever behaved in a way that may not be pleasing," said the man born in Madura.
Meanwhile, the new Dandim 0833, Lt. Col. Arm Aris Gunawan admitted that he will always work hard and be committed to the progress of Malang City. "Let's establish strong cooperation and friendship so that Malang City remains conducive. "Later I will also schedule friendship visits to various agencies, such as the Malang City Government, Malang City Police, TNI AL Base, District Attorney's Office and others," he said. (say/yon)
