Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Packaged in the Regional Taxpayer Gathering event, the Malang City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) gave appreciation to 80 taxpayers at the Malang Creative Center (MCC) Building, Malang City, Wednesday evening (29/11/2023).
The special and exclusive souvenirs with the words Best Taxpayer 2023 were given because the taxpayers met a number of criteria, such as honesty in reporting turnover, paying taxes on time and having a large enough turnover.
This was conveyed by the Head of Bapenda Malang City Handi Priyanto after the event. Several taxpayers who received this appreciation were national restaurant business actors, local restaurants, hotels, guest houses, PPAT notaries, entertainment venues, parking and street lighting.
This step is also an effort to increase taxpayer compliance, realize tax targets and local revenues. "Until now, from the tax revenue target of Rp834 billion, Rp542 billion or 65 percent has been realized," he explained.
Until the end of this year, he said that Bapenda is optimistic that at least 90 percent will be realized. "Although it is not easy, we will try our best with various elegant ways," explained Handi.
In order to realize the target amount, Bapenda will also hold a Tax Awareness Festival at the end of December 2023. Various attractive prizes, such as motorbikes, cars and refrigerators have been prepared for taxpayers who pay taxes on time and have no arrears. (say/yon)
