Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM invited the young generation, especially students, to play an active role in making the 2024 Democratic Party a success. He conveyed this invitation when opening the National Insight activity for Students as well as the Malang Raya BEM Talkshow which carried the theme 'Challenges of Malang Raya Students in Facing the Dynamics of the 2024 Election' which was held on the 5th Floor of the Malang Creative Center (MCC) Building, Wednesday (20/12/2023).
"I appreciate the activities with the current theme. In accordance with today's theme, 2024 is the year of the Democratic Party. Let's welcome it well and rejoice," said Wahyu.
Acting Mayor of Malang said that the success of the Democratic Party was partly in the hands of students as the next generation. He said that the participation of young people as voters was one of the indicators of the success of the election.
"We expect a lot from the hands of students, even as our successors, the success of the Democratic Party is in the hands of all of you. We also warmly welcome BEM Malang Raya at the Malang Creative Center which is a place for young people to channel their creativity," he explained.
As is known, Malang City, which is a City of Education, has up to 57 universities with more than 800.000 students. "We hope there will be collaboration and synergy from BEM Malang Raya. The name of the challenge must have a solution, so through this activity it is hoped that a solution can be found so that the 2024 Election runs safely, smoothly and peacefully like the cool city of Malang," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of Bakesbangpol Malang City Dra. Rinawati, MM advised students to use their voting rights in the 2024 Simultaneous Elections. "Don't abstain, because your votes also determine the future of Indonesia's leadership. Monitor the implementation of the election so that it runs smoothly and successfully.
