Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) continues to improve public services for the community. Various service innovations with digitalization continue to be strengthened. The digitalization innovation of public services carried out in Malang City has received appreciation from the Kubu Raya Regency Government of West Kalimantan Province.

During his working visit to Malang City, Kubu Raya Regent H. Muda Mahendrawan, SH, M.Kn said that his party saw that Malang City had achieved various achievements and accomplishments so that it became a motivation to build Kubu Raya which had just turned 17 years old.
"For that, we want to learn how mature regions and many breakthroughs and innovations strengthen services to the community. Moreover, Malang is known in the Republic of Indonesia as a destination for schools, tourism, and also a fairly progressive area in the creative economy," explained the Regent of Kubu Raya during a working visit received at the Malang City Hall Meeting Room, Thursday (11/1/2024).
He admitted that Kubu Raya continues to strive to become an advanced region by seeking development models in various sectors. Through a visit to the Malang City Government, Muda hopes to open a channel of cooperation to be able to develop his region better.
"Hopefully this will be a good opportunity for us to get a lot of inspiration from the Malang City Government. Of course, we also continue to try to get networks to learn and develop and improve public services, improve MSMEs, and so on. Hopefully this visit can have an impact. Moreover, there are also a lot of West Kalimantan residents in Malang City," he concluded.
Meanwhile, Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM said that his party was honored because it was trusted by other regional governments to be a reference for study in regional development. This working visit is concrete evidence of the spirit of cooperation and collaboration between regions. Wahyu believes that by exchanging experiences, the two regions can learn from each other and can jointly develop innovations for the advancement of the region.
"I am very happy to be able to share experiences and knowledge about the digitalization of public services to further strengthen regional innovation. This is important because the current government administration must be able to adapt to technological advances," he said.
Wahyu said that Malang City is committed to continuing to implement information technology to improve services to the community, one of which is by strengthening SPBE. Various innovations and applications also continue to be developed to be able to provide easy, fast, and responsive services to the community.
"We hope that through this step we can create a better future, where every citizen feels the benefits of technological progress. Collaboration with all components is the key to success in developing information technology that can support improving the quality of public services.
