Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Health Office (Dinkes) again held a meeting entitled Raising Family Awareness in Improving Family and Environmental Health by Implementing Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) at the Atria Hotel, Tuesday (16/1/2024). This activity was opened directly by the Acting Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP Dra. Hanik Andriani Wahyu Hidayat.
In her speech, the Acting Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP appreciated the activities involving all parties to continue campaigning for PHBS in Malang City. "We deliberately invited the wives of all regional apparatus officials, PKK cadres, and heads of health centers to jointly provide education to the community about PHBS," explained Hanik.
Through this activity, it is hoped that in the future the health level of Malang City residents can continue to improve, which of course must be followed up through various programs to create and improve community welfare.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Health Office, Dr. Husnul Muarif, said that this meeting is an educational activity that will involve all members of society with various potentials starting from the smallest environment, namely the family, to encourage PHBS. "The family is the key to achieving PHBS success sustainably," he explained.
According to him, the encouragement and participation of all members of the TP PKK from the city, sub-district, village, to PKK cadres who have devoted themselves to the welfare of families and communities are greatly needed. "The main goal is to improve the health of the people of Malang City," he added.
PHBS itself is an effort in the household to empower household members to know, want and be able to implement clean and healthy living behavior. Families are also expected to play an active role in welfare in society with PHBS to achieve a healthy household. (cah/yon)
