Chairperson of the Malang City PKK Team, Hanik Andriani Wahyu Hidayat reviewed the toga garden in the RW 6 Hall area.
The woman in hijab said that the utilization of empty land in the RW 6 area is already good because it has been planted with various types of flowers and herbs. However, in the future it still needs to be improved because there are still some empty areas.
Hanik also asked the Head of Karangbesuki Village, Endy Sri Hartanto, SH, who was accompanying her at that time to immediately submit a letter to the Head of the Food Security and Agriculture Service (Dispangtan) to add plant seeds and supporting infrastructure.
Every empty land, whether in the sub-district, RW hall, RT or even in residential areas, according to Hanik must be utilized optimally. Because later it will definitely bring many benefits and advantages. "If the management is good, it can be a reference for comparative studies," he explained.
In addition, the results of the utilization of limited land commonly referred to as the concept of urban farming, such as vegetables or fruits can be sold and will increase income. No less important if the surrounding environment is green, it will suppress global warming.
