Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – From the results of the discussion of 23 Thematic Villages in Malang City, 20 Thematic Villages are ready to hold 77 events throughout 2024 to pamper visiting tourists.
Head of the Malang City Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) Isa Wahyudi revealed that Malang City has 23 Thematic Villages, but only 2024 Thematic Villages have submitted the 20 event calendar. The three thematic villages that do not yet have an event calendar are Kramat Kasin Village, Wonokoyo Water Tourism Village and Nila Slilir Village.
"Currently, we continue to encourage thematic villages that are still inactive to develop further so that the existence of existing thematic villages can be maintained and developed further," said Isa.
Isa revealed that the events that will be held are very diverse. "Starting from Kuda Lumping, Gugur Gunung Sambang Kampung, Bantengan, Mask Festival, Brantas River Festival and many other interesting events," explained Isa, Thursday (25/1/2024).
The man who is familiarly called Ki Demang hopes that with the many events held, it will attract tourists to come to Malang City, both local and foreign tourists.
Several Thematic Villages in Malang City that have prepared events in 2024 include Polowijen Cultural Village, Gribig Religi Village, Colorful Village, Lantern Village, Penanggungan Pottery Village, Tridi Village, Kayutangan Heritage Village, Satrio Turonggo Jati Village, Londo Cemetery Village, Glintung Water Street Village, Sanan Village, and others.
