Likewise, the concern and support of the Malang City Government for creative economy actors is very high. One real proof is the establishment of the Malang Creative Center (MCC) building.
So far, it is very rare for local governments to have this kind of concern. Malang City Government is extraordinary. Its startups have high potential and its government provides great support. This deserves to be appreciated and become an example for other regions.
These are some of the things conveyed by Sonny Hendra Sudaryana, a representative from the Directorate of Digital Economy, Directorate General of Informatics Applications, Ministry of Communication and Information after the CEO Meet Up Station X 1000 Digital Startup event at the MCC building in Malang City, Thursday (1/2/2024).
From this program, Sonny said that his party felt the need to come to Malang City so that there would be program synchronization with the Malang City Government. In addition, his party also saw significant growth from Malang City startups in recent times, especially at the national level and began to receive investment.
"Malang could be the next from Jakarta, Bandung and Yogyakarta for the advancement of the creative economy from these startups. We do not want the public to know Indonesia from just a few cities. We believe that in the near future Malang City can stand and advance together with those cities," he added.
Related to that, Sonny explained that the off the road engine is the talent. In Malang City, there are many large universities that will also support. "Likewise, the bottom up policy, namely there is support and input from the Malang City Government that we will later sew," he said. (say/yon)
