Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The CEO Meet Up Station X 1000 Digital Startup event held at the Malang Creative Center (MCC) building in Malang City, Thursday (1/2/2024) received appreciation from the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM.
The reason is that the event, which was led by the Directorate of Digital Economy, Directorate General of Informatics Applications, Ministry of Communication and Information, had a big impact on startups and creative economy actors in Malang City.
When talking about opportunities, Wahyu explained that Malang City has great and many potentials. Creative economy actors have so far been very good, so there needs to be direction and assistance from the Ministry of Communication and Information so that what is done has a correlation.
"In addition, with this event, what the Malang City Government is doing is also linear with the Ministry of Communication and Information's program. Therefore, we gather these startup leaders so they can provide input. Thus, later the Malang City Government's policies will be in line with the Ministry of Communication and Information," added Wahyu.
From all of that, when there is program synchronization, this will be input for the Malang City Government in formulating policies related to the progress of the creative economy. "In the future, we hope that Malang City startups can penetrate the global market," Wahyu hoped.
"The great potential of these creative economy players will certainly be fully supported. This is in line with the launch of Malang City as a World Creative City in 2025. One form of real support at this time is the existence of MCC with its various facilities," concluded Wahyu. (say/yon)
