Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Until now, the renovation of the Gajayana Stadium in Malang City has entered the stage of compiling the Regional Sports Grand Design (DBOD). This is done so that later the map of sports development in Malang City will be clearer.
Head of the Youth, Sports and Tourism Service (Disporapar) of Malang City, Baihaqi on Friday (2/2/2024) said that the preparation of the DBOD was in line with the Regulation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) Number 15 of 2023, that every region is required to prepare the DBOD.
From this DBOD the Central Government will know the direction of sports development in Malang City. So each region is different and has its own advantages.
"In this context, of course there are several superior sports that can achieve at various levels. For example at the Provincial Sports Week (Porprov), National Sports Week (PON), Sea Games, Asean Games," he explained.
For Malang City, Baihaqi said it is still in the discussion stage. However, the possibility is not far from several sports branches that have had quite good achievements so far.
"For example, athletics, cycling, archery, swimming and there are several other sports that have so far won achievements at the provincial and national levels," concluded Baihaqi. (say/yon)
