Malang (malangkota.go.id) – Entering the quiet period of the 2024 Simultaneous Elections starting from 11-13 February 2024, the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM directly participated in the clean-up of Campaign Equipment (APK), Sunday (11/2/2024) which was held in collaboration with the Malang City Bawaslu and the Malang City Government.
Present to accompany the Acting Mayor of Malang were the Head of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) Heru Mulyono and the ranks of the Malang City Transportation Agency. The APK control was a follow-up to the seven directives given by the Acting Mayor of Malang when attending the quiet period supervision alert in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Saturday (10/2/2024) yesterday.
For that commitment, Acting Mayor Wahyu Hidayat directly reviewed the regulation of APK in the Gajayana Stadium area, especially around the Rudal Statue. Wahyu said that the Malang City Government will provide support to Bawaslu to immediately complete the regulation of this APK. "This is in addition to the fact that it is currently a quiet period, APK must be immediately regulated to maintain the aesthetics of Malang City," he explained.
"Next Monday, I will order all ASN in the sub-district and village areas to jointly assist Bawaslu in controlling this APK in their respective areas," he emphasized again.
Furthermore, Wahyu said that his party would feel very helped and very happy if the community helped clean up APK in the area around their homes so that the cleanliness and beauty of the environment are maintained. "We are grateful if the community is willing to help Bawaslu regulate APK, especially in residential areas, in villages," added Wahyu.
For information, in the regulation of APK, the Malang City Government will assist the Malang City Bawaslu by deploying related regional apparatus. "We will back up Bawaslu entirely. It is impossible for Bawaslu to do it alone, so later we will work with several PDs, there are Satpol PP and Dishub, then DLH, we will work together later. Like Bawaslu doesn't have a hydraulic ladder vehicle, we will work together to back up Bawaslu by regulating and cleaning up this APK," he said. (TS/yon)
