Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM together with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) and the ranks of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) reviewed the implementation of the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) at several Polling Stations (TPS), Wednesday (14/2/2024). This is to ensure that the implementation of the 2024 Election in Malang City runs safely and smoothly.
"First, we monitored the Election together with the Malang City Forkopimda online at the Ngalam Command Center (NCC). We coordinated with colleagues in the region to monitor the implementation of voting in the Malang City area," explained Wahyu.
After coordinating online, Wahyu, along with his staff and Forkopimda, went directly to review the voting process at several polling stations in the Malang City area. The three polling stations visited were TPS 31, Lowokwaru Village, TPS 3, Pandanwangi Village, and TPS 1, Madyopuro Village.
"From monitoring until now, thank God the implementation of the Election in Malang City has run safely, smoothly and successfully in accordance with what we all hope for," said the number one person in the Malang City Government.
Seeing the enthusiasm of the community to make this five-yearly Democracy Festival a success, Wahyu is optimistic that the level of participation of the Malang City community is very high. The Voting Committee (PPS) and all related ranks were also alert and quick to overcome the few obstacles encountered during the implementation so that the voting could run well and smoothly.
The day before, the Acting Mayor of Malang together with the ranks of Forkopimda Plus, Bawaslu and the ranks of the Malang City Government starting from the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City, heads of regional apparatuses and their staff also monitored the readiness of voting in five sub-districts in the Malang City area. Monitoring will continue to be carried out until the vote counting to ensure that the 2024 Malang City Election runs safely and conducively. (yul/yon)
