Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – State Civil Apparatus (ASN) are required to be able to have a professional, integrity, and service work culture. This is what was emphasized by the Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM in his message when leading the morning assembly at Malang City Hall, Monday (19/2/2024).
Regional apparatus award that received the best assessment in the 2023 ASN Moral Core Values Internalization Competition
The message delivered by Wahyu is an encouragement for ASN to interpret and implement the idea of ASN Berakhlak from the Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB). ASN Berakhlak has five main values, namely service-oriented, accountable, competent, harmonious, and loyal. "I mandate all heads of regional apparatus to encourage ASN to be more innovative, change their mindset, increase the capacity of professional bureaucracy, and be able to adapt to changing times," he said.
On this occasion, Wahyu also presented awards to regional apparatuses that received the best assessments in the 2023 ASN Berahlak Core Values Internalization Competition. This competition is an annual event held by the Malang City Government to capture creative innovations from regional apparatuses that aim to improve their services to the community.
The SIAPEL-TEGAS innovation was considered the best creative innovation in this event. The innovation developed by the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) of Malang City is an online application that can be used by the public to manage population documents in a more integrated manner.
Meanwhile, the PERSADA application created by the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) is considered the second best creative innovation. An android-based online application to be used to facilitate tax access for taxpayers such as restaurants, hotels, entertainment venues, and parking. With the presence of this application, it is expected to increase regional income.
Ranked third is the AIRMANTAP innovation from Perumda Tugu Tirta. AIRMANTAP is an innovation in 24-hour drinking water distribution with strategic steps such as installing an in-line pump for the Landungsari area which experiences limited raw water supply and high service elevation.
Selected as the most favorite innovation, SUKUN RUKUN initiated by Sukun District seeks to provide optimal services to the community. As the name implies, SUKUN RUKUN prioritizes togetherness, synergy, and coordination between the district and various related parties including vertical agencies, universities, cross-regional apparatuses, to various components of society.
"I appreciate every creative idea of the regional apparatus that received the award this time. Hopefully, the spirit to continue to innovate will also be followed by other regional apparatuses," he said.
Wahyu also hopes that the implementation of this competition and awarding can be real evidence of appreciation for the commitment and dedication of regional apparatus in implementing the ASN Berahlak values in carrying out their duties and functions.
"Hopefully the core values of ASN Berakhlak in Malang City will not only be a jargon, but become a value that can be seen in real terms by the community that emerges from every action, word, and dedication of ASN," he concluded. (ari/yon)
