Regarding PSU, Acting Mayor of Malang: We Trust KPU and Bawaslu

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The General Election Commission (KPU) of Malang City will hold a re-vote (PSU) on Saturday (24/2/2024) at three polling stations (TPS) in the Lowokwaru District area, namely at TPS 48, Jatimulyo Village, TPS 14 and TPS 37 in Mojolangu Village. The implementation of the PSU at the three TPS is only for the election of the president and vice president.

Regarding this, Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM hopes that the implementation of the PSU can run well. He is optimistic that the election organizers, namely the KPU and Bawaslu, will carry out their duties well.

The statement was delivered by the Acting Mayor of Malang to the media crew after opening the Traffic and Road Transportation Forum Coordination Meeting at the Shalimar Hotel, Malang City, Thursday (22/2/2024).

He said, so far the implementation of the Democratic Party in Malang City has gone well, everything is running smoothly and public participation is also high. "For this PSU I think it's a normal thing, and most importantly the atmosphere remains conducive," Wahyu continued.

"For the technical implementation of the election, it is the domain and authority of the KPU and Bawaslu. We from the Malang City Government are only there to help if needed. Such as health workers and ambulances for officers at the TPS to anticipate their fatigue and health," he concluded. (say/yon)
