Padang (malangkota.go.id) – Malang City is one of the cities that received the Satpol PP (Civil Service Unit) Caring Service Award given by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) of the Republic of Indonesia.
This award was presented by the Acting Director of the Directorate General of Regional Administration Development of the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs, Amran at the commemoration of the 74th anniversary of Satpol PP and the 62nd anniversary of Satlinmas at the Truntum Padang Hotel, Padang City, West Sumatra, Saturday (2/3/2024).
At the moment that raised the theme 'The Role of Satpol PP and Satlinmas in Creating Trantibumlinmas Supporting the 2024 Election and Regional Election', there were ten regions that received the Karya Bhakti Award, consisting of three cities, four regencies, and three provinces. In more detail, namely Malang City, Surakarta City, Surabaya City, Cilacap Regency, Kediri Regency, Paser Regency, Badung Regency, Bali Province, Yogyakarta Province, and West Sumatra Province.
The Satpol PP Community Service Award is given to Satpol PP who are considered very successful, creative, and innovative in carrying out their duties and functions as enforcers of regional regulations.
For this achievement, on a separate occasion, the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM when met, Saturday (2/3/2024) congratulated and gave his appreciation to the Malang City Satpol PP and all other related parties.
"We express our highest appreciation to the members of Satpol PP and Satlinmas for their devotion and dedication in carrying out and carrying out their duties to provide protection and sincere service in order to create a sense of order, peace and security in the community," he said.
The Acting Mayor of Malang emphasized that this award should be an encouragement and motivation to continue to be better, more productive and more innovative, especially to realize the best public service.
"Don't be complacent. There are still many things to be done, fixed and added to make us even better," he concluded. (yon)
