Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – As the term of office of the East Java Province Regency/City General Election Commission (KPU) for the 2019-2024 period approaches, as an institutional continuation, it is necessary to re-establish the East Java Province Regency/City KPU for the 2024-2029 period. In this regard, the Selection Team (Timsel) for Candidate Members of the East Java Province Regency/City KPU for Malang City, Malang Regency, Batu City, Pasuruan City, Pasuruan Regency and Probolinggo City consisting of five (5) members began recruiting new members from March 8-19, 2024.
The selection team consists of Yuventia Prisca (Chair), Titin Wahyuningsih (Secretary), Herlindah (member), Mukhammad Khalid Mawardi (member) and Laily Ulfiyah (member). This selection team was formed based on KPU Decree No. 286 of 2024 concerning the Determination of Membership of the Selection Team for Candidates for KPU Regency/City Members in 37 Regencies/Cities in Two Provinces for the 2024-2029 Period.
Based on KPU Decree Number 318 of 2024 concerning the Schedule of Stages of Implementation of the Selection of Candidates for KPU Regency/City Members in 37 Regencies/Cities in Two Provinces for the 2024-2029 Period, implementing hybrid socialization activities (offline and online).
This was conveyed by Titin Wahyuningsih at the Socialization event for the Selection of Candidate Members of the Malang City, Malang Regency and Batu City KPU at the Malang City KPU Office, Thursday (7/3/2024)
Offline socialization by inviting limited media partners from Malang City took place at the Malang City KPU Office, while online socialization invited media partners from Malang Regency and Batu City which was carried out via zoom meeting. The targets of this socialization activity are election organizers, election activists, people who care about democracy and the wider community. The socialization broadcast can also be accessed via Youtube streaming on the official KPU JATIM account.
In this socialization, several things were conveyed, such as the stages of the implementation of the selection of prospective members of the Regency/City KPU consisting of registration announcements, acceptance of registrations, administrative research, determination of administrative results, announcement of administrative results, written selection and psychological tests, and determination of written selection results.
In addition, there are stages of announcing the results of psychological tests, announcing the results of written selection and psychological test results, public input and responses, health tests, interviews, determining the results of health tests and interviews, announcing the results of health tests and interviews and submitting the names of candidates for Regency/City KPU members.
"The requirements for prospective members of the Regency/City KPU and the documents that must be submitted during registration refer completely to KPU Regulation No. 4 of 2024 concerning the Selection of Members of the Provincial KPU and Regency/City KPU," he explained.
File submission can be accessed through the KPU Member Information System and Adhoc Unit (SIAKBA) via the website https://siakba.kpu.go.id.
"All citizens or applicants have the same opportunity and each stage is carried out fairly and transparently. We hope that all applicants complete the files according to the requirements and should not register on the last days.
