Acting Mayor of Malang Holds Ramadan Safari at Al-Mubarokah Mosque

Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – The fourth Ramadan Safari collaboration between the Malang City Government (Pemkot) and the Nahdlatul Ulama Branch Management (PCNU) of Malang City was held at the Al-Mubarokah Mosque on Jl. Mayjend Sungkono, Bumiayu Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang City, Tuesday (19/3/2024).

On this occasion, the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM was present with the Chairman of the PCNU of Malang City, Isroqunnajah, Rois Syuriah NU Prof. Muhtadi Ridwan, Chairman of the Baznas of Malang City, Kasuwi Saiban, and the ranks of the regional apparatus of the Malang City Government.

The Acting Mayor of Malang said that by attending and meeting face to face like this, the community can convey their complaints and all the problems in their environment so that the best solution can be found. "Through this Safari Ramadan moment, hopefully it can strengthen the ties of friendship as well as strengthen the synergy and communication between the ranks of the Malang City Government and the community," he explained.

As with the previous Ramadan Safari, on this occasion, assistance was also provided for the construction of a mosque, as well as assistance from the Malang City Baznas which was provided after the tarawih prayer.

Takmir of Al-Mubarokah Mosque HM Yunus admitted to being happy with the presence of the Acting Mayor of Malang and all his staff. "Al-Mubarokah Mosque has been standing for a long time, and is currently being completely renovated, the construction of which began four months ago. We ask for your prayers to be given the strength to carry out the mandate for the construction and development of the mosque," said Yunus.

The existence of the mosque was emphasized by Yunus as very important. Not only as a place to perform ritual worship such as prayer or reading the Qur'an, he said the mosque is also a place for preaching, education, social activities, building Islamic civilization, and others. "We hope that with the development of the Al-Mubarokah Mosque, it can play a role in building society and building the people," explained Yunus. (cah/yon)
