Jakarta (malangkota.go.id) – Seven awards won at the 2024 TOP BUMD Awards became a sweet gift ahead of Malang City's Anniversary. Two Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) under the auspices of the Malang City Government (Pemkot), namely the Regional Public Company (Perumda) Tugu Tirta Drinking Water and PT BPR Tugu Artha Sejahtera Malang City, managed to achieve brilliant achievements at the event held in Jakarta, Wednesday (20/3/2024).
In this event, PT BPR Tugu Artha Sejahtera Malang City successfully won the TOP BUMD Awards 2024 # 4 Stars. This achievement is an increase from last year's achievement, which was # 3 Stars for the same category. Meanwhile, Perumda Tugu Tirta Malang City has maintained its achievement for three consecutive years by winning the TOP BUMD Awards 2024 # 5 Stars. This achievement for three consecutive years led Perumda Tugu Tirta to win the TOP BUMD GOLDEN Trophy 2024 award.
Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat MM who received two awards as Top Pembina BUMD Awards 2024 said that this achievement is a sweet gift for Malang City which will soon celebrate its 110th anniversary on April 1, 2024.
"On its 110th anniversary, hopefully this special gift can provide a good direction for the welfare of the people of Malang City," he prayed.
Wahyu said that the seven awards won were an extraordinary achievement for the two BUMDs of Malang City. According to him, this is proof of the real work done by the BUMDs. In the future, the number one person in the ranks of the Malang City Government hopes that by winning this award, the two BUMDs' efforts in serving the people of Malang City can be maximized.
"This is one of the proofs that BUMD has been able to show its performance better. And of course this is our common hope, in the future our BUMD can move towards a more professional direction in providing complete services to the community. And of course I congratulate you on this achievement," he said proudly.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT BPR Tugu Artha Sejahtera Kota Malang (Perseroda), Nyimas Nunin Anisah Baidury expressed her gratitude for the award received. She said that this award is a form of appreciation for the hard work done by her staff, especially in providing maximum service to the community in the banking sector.
"With the innovation that we have made in the form of digitalization of banking services, such as virtual accounts, we hope that our services will not be left behind by others, so that we can help the people of Malang City," explained Nunin.
The same thing was expressed by the President Director of Perumda Air Minum Tugu Tirta Malang City M. Nor Muhlas. According to him, this achievement is a form of Perumda Tugu Tirta's commitment to serving the community. In the future, winning this award will be a motivation for the company to be more innovative.
"This achievement is also certainly due to the full trust of the leadership who has given us full authority. Of course this has a big influence on us, so that we become more confident in maximizing our performance," he explained.
In this event, not only the company was awarded, but awards were also given to the two BUMD leaders as the Top CEO BUMD Awards 2024 for their dedication to their work. In the future, both Nunin and Muhlas hope that this achievement can be a spur to work even better. (iu/yon)
