Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Malang City Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) held a Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) for the 2025 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) and the 2025-2045 Regional Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) at the Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel, Wednesday (20/3/2024).
From the musrenbang that has been conducted at the sub-district and district levels, the proposals accommodated were 3.790 proposals. This number increased by two percent compared to the previous musrenbang. A number of priority proposals are not much different from the previous musrenbang, namely dominated by education, health and infrastructure.
Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM who was present and opened the musrenbang revealed that the results of this musrenbang will be the benchmark and basis for launching development programs for the next 20 years.
"The implementation of this musrenbang is indeed different, because it should be RPJPD first then RKPD. However, because this is special, the implementation is carried out simultaneously. This is not only in Malang City, but also in all regions in Indonesia," explained Wahyu.
He added that the explanation or suggestions from the East Java Governor's Expert Staff will also be the basis for implementing development programs, such as efforts to reduce poverty and unemployment rates massively. "This is in line with the strategic agenda that has been mandated, called 4 Healthy 5 Perfect, namely those related to stunting, inflation, public services, extreme poverty and the creative economy," explained Wahyu.
Three days after the implementation of the musrenbang, he said that the results must be submitted to the East Java Provincial Government. "Because in early April 2024, the RPJPD and RKPD 2025 will be discussed," he concluded. (say/yon)
