Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government's Ramadan Safari series this time targeted the Khadijah Mosque on Jl. Arjuno 19A Kauman, Klojen District, Malang City, Thursday night (21/3/2024). This event began with a religious sermon delivered by the Head of the Malang City Interfaith Harmony Forum (FKUB) H. Ahmad Taufik Kusuma.
Bringing the theme of the characteristics of a believer, one of the Muhammadiyah figures of Malang City invited to continue to maintain harmony between religious communities. He also invited to always increase faith, especially in this Holy Month of Ramadan.
"In this month full of blessings and forgiveness, let us increase our worship, good deeds and sharing together. In this month, all our acts of worship will be rewarded with manifold rewards. Let's continue to increase our worship and ask forgiveness for our sins to Allah SWT so that later we will get His heaven," said H. Taufik.
A similar statement was delivered by Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM after performing tarawih prayers and handing over aid to mosque administrators, the poor and orphans. According to him, this Ramadan Safari is part of the Malang City Government's concern for the people.
"The success, accomplishment and implementation of various development programs of Malang City Government so far cannot be separated from the active role of community leaders and religious leaders. Synergy and collaboration so far, especially with FKUB, have had a major impact on the community," explained Wahyu.
On this occasion, the man from Malang City also invited all people to support and make a success of his priority program called 4 Healthy 5 Perfect. The strategic program is controlling inflation, reducing stunting rates, reducing extreme poverty, public services and boosting the progress of the creative economy.
"The program is one of the mandates that I carried when I was inaugurated as Acting Mayor of Malang some time ago. Let's make this program a success so that Malang City is more advanced, developed and better in various aspects," concluded Wahyu. (say/yon)
