Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM symbolically handed over the decision on the appointment of CPNS graduates of the Indonesian Land Transportation Polytechnic (PTDI) - Land Transportation College (STTD) for the 2023 formation, the decision on the appointment of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) for the 2023 formation, and the decision on the promotion of PNS for the period of April 1, 2024 at the Islamic Center Building, Malang City, Thursday (21/3/2024).
In his direction, Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM said that in the era of modern bureaucracy like today, ASN must be able to establish effective communication with the community. Every program and policy of the Malang City Government should be able to be conveyed well.
One way, said Wahyu, is to involve the role of ASN in the Malang City Government environment by conveying information through communication networks. "In an era like today, communication needs to continue to be built between the Government and the community, especially how the community knows what the government's programs and policies are, in addition to the efforts and achievements obtained," he explained.
The number one person in the Malang City Government emphasized that the existence of ASN certainly has the task of creating more effective communication with the community, because ASN is an extension of the government in delivering its programs. "For example, yesterday when I received the Top BUMD Award 2024. I asked all ranks to staff to post stories on WA so that the public can know about it," continued Wahyu.
Not only that, Wahyu said that ASN also need to socialize the programs they initiated. "Existing programs such as Ngombe and Kemis Mbois also need to be conveyed to the community. Ngombe itself has proven effective in capturing community aspirations. This is one form of building communication with the community," he said.
"Regarding efforts to control the prices of basic necessities, the monitoring that has been carried out several times also needs to be conveyed, meaning that there are efforts from us in controlling prices. In addition, there are also Warung Press Inflation, cheap food movements, and other programs that need to be disseminated," explained Wahyu.
The Acting Mayor of Malang also instructed ASN in Malang City to continue to participate in creating effective communication with the community. "My hope is that in the future this communication will be smoother, both between individuals, between regional apparatuses and of course the government and the community. If everything has been conveyed to the community, I am sure this will make it easier for us to carry out our duties," he concluded.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM) Drs. Totok Kasiyanto revealed that the number of PPPK personnel appointments for the 2023 formation in Malang City was 198 people, consisting of 28 health workers, 21 technical workers, and 149 teachers.
"For the promotion of the group rank, there are 392 people consisting of group IV as many as 13 people, group III as many as 195 people, and group II 184 people. Meanwhile, the promotion of the IV/B service rank is the Head of Bakesbangpol Malang City, Mrs. Rinawati," he said. (cah/yon)
