Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – After a long wait, finally the Acting Mayor of Malang, Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM decided that the position of President Director (Dirut) of Perumda Air Minum Tugu Tirta Malang City held by Muhammad Nor Muhlas would not be extended. As a replacement, now the Chairman of the Supervisory Board (Dewas) of Perumda Tugu Tirta, Handi Priyanto, is trusted as the acting (Plt.) president director for the next two months.
The statement was made by Wahyu Hidayat after the laying of the first ceramic tiles for the new building of the Qurrota A'yun Educational Institution, Jalan Kol Sugiono Gang 12 B No. 21, Gadang Village, Sukun District, Malang City, Sunday (31/3/2024). Wahyu said that the appointment of Handi Priyanto was based on input and suggestions from the ranks of the supervisory board and advisory board of Perumda Tugu Tirta Malang City.
The number one person in the Malang City Government said, in carrying out the duties of the Acting Director, he will appoint one of the managers to carry out daily tasks. "Mr. Handi is the Head of the Malang City Bapenda, so the daily executor must be someone who is focused on his duties. Therefore, we ask to appoint one of the managers at Perumda Tugu Tirta," continued Wahyu.
Regarding the formation of a selection committee (pansel) to select and determine a new CEO, this native of Malang City admitted that it is still in process and will discuss with the ranks of the board of directors and advisory board. "We will meet soon, and this week the pansel will be formed immediately. Based on the advice of the Ministry of Home Affairs, later this pansel will consist of three important elements," explained Wahyu.
Wahyu emphasized that his party did not want to be reckless so that the results would also be maximized. "Whoever will occupy the position of president director, must be the right person and bring significant and better progress to the internal Perumda Tugu Tirta. In essence, we will hold a meeting as soon as possible to elect a new president director," he concluded. (say/yon)
