Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Starting a series of activity agendas on the occasion of the 110th Anniversary of Malang City, Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM together with his staff made a pilgrimage to the Ki Ageng Gribig Cemetery complex in Madyoupro Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang City, Monday (1/4/2024).
Acting Mayor of Malang Wahyu Hidayat revealed that the various achievements and successes of Malang City so far have never been separated from the role of its predecessors. That is why on the anniversary of Malang City, it is very appropriate to start with a pilgrimage and prayers for the souls of its predecessors. "This morning we made a pilgrimage, scattered flowers and prayed at the Tomb of Ki Ageng Gribig who is a predecessor figure," explained Wahyu, Monday (1/4).
The number one person in the Malang City Government said that the momentum of the 110th Anniversary of Malang City is an opportunity to align towards a classy Malang City. This alignment is the capital to continue to oversee the handling of strategic issues in order to realize an increasingly classy Malang City. "We have one vision together, fighting together in harmony to realize what the community wants, fighting together to carry out the community's mandate," explained Wahyu.
He added that the support of all parties is an inseparable part to be able to realize the ideals of making Malang City even better. The spirit of collaboration, cooperation, coordination, communication and synergy must continue to be encouraged. "All of that is the key to realizing development in our beloved Malang City, because in the future there is clearly still a lot of homework that must be found solutions and completed together," said Wahyu.
There are at least ten important priority indicators that must be completed and the best solution sought to make Malang City more classy, namely inflation control, stunting handling, BUMD work and performance development, improving public services, reducing unemployment rates, eradicating extreme poverty, health, budget absorption, ease of licensing and strengthening superior programs.
