Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In collaboration with the Malang City Government, the Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association (APPBI) Malang Raya Branch Assistant Council (DPC) held an event titled 'Malang Raya Shopping Adventure (MRSA) 2024' at Transmart Malang City, Monday (1/4/2024). In this eleventh event, APPBI involved nine shopping centers, including Transmart, Malang Town Square, Dinoyo Mall, Araya Mall and Cyber Mall.

Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM after opening the event revealed that this year's event was packaged somewhat differently from previous years because it involved more MSME actors.
"Previously involving dozens, at the moment that coincides with the 110th Anniversary of Malang City, there are 250 MSME actors and spread across nine shopping centers in Malang Raya. From the event held for one month, it is targeted to have a significant impact on MSME actors, especially in terms of promotion and sales turnover," added Wahyu.
According to him, from this event, it means that there is a movement from UMKM actors and not only related to what is already in this mall, but UMKM actors are also included. "That's what's different, the strategy from APPBI is also good and deserves to be appreciated," he explained.
"So in a week they take turns to give opportunities to others, because we have a lot of MSMEs. Later in the future it will be continued again. What is clear is that it is expected to continue to advance MSMEs in Malang Raya," continued the number one person in the Malang City Government.
Meanwhile, for residents who shop at the nine shopping centers, with certain amounts and purchases of products will get discounts of up to 70 percent and raffle coupons. For the lucky ones, they will get attractive prizes, such as motorbikes, fans and shopping vouchers.
"The prize draw will be held on June 2 at Dino Mall JTP 3 Batu City. During this event, UMKM actors will not be taxed, because there is a collaboration between the Malang City Government and APPBI. Hopefully this event will have a positive impact on UMKM actors and residents of Malang Raya in general," concluded Wahyu. (say/yon)
